What is a Digital Signature Certificate?
A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is a digital equivalent of a physical or paper certificate. It serves as a secure digital key that authenticates the identity of the holder when conducting online transactions, signing documents, or engaging in electronic communication. DSCs are issued by Certifying Authorities (CAs) after verifying the identity of the certificate holder.
Digital signatures provide assurance of the authenticity, integrity, and non-repudiation of electronic documents or messages. They use cryptographic techniques to bind a digital signature with the content being signed, ensuring that any alteration to the document after it has been signed is detectable.

How to get a digital signature certificate?
We are providing the DSC Class 3 registration/application on their homepage and proceed to fill out the form, you need to fill in the below necessary details on the DSC application form.
- Class of the DSC.
- Validity.
- Type: Only sign or sign and encrypt.
- Applicant name and contact details.
- Residential address.
- GST number and identity details of proof documents.
- Declaration.
- Document as proof of identity.
- Document as proof of address.
- Attestation officer.
- Payment details.
- Next, upload your recent photograph and e-sign the declaration.
- Upload the required documents. However, if the CAs are offering Aadhaar eKYC-based authentication, you can select this option. If you select this option, you do not have to upload any supporting documents. You can also directly approach the CAs with original supporting documents and self-attested copies of the original documents.
- Make the payment for the issuance of the DSC and submit the form.
- CAs will verify your application and documents and issue the DSC electronically.

•Offline Aadhaar XML downloaded from UIDAI website.
•Applicant details to be filled.
Online Aadhaar (OTP)
•Online Aadhaar OTP based using Aadhaar registered Mobile Number.
•Applicant details to be filled.
•Passport size photo of Authorized Signatory (JPG/ PNG file).
•Scanned copy of Authorized Signatory Proof (If Authorized Signatory is a Director, List of Directors letter / Board Resolution / Power of Attorney).
•Scanned copy of Authorized Signatory’s ID Proof (Org ID Card/PAN Card/Voter’s ID Card/Driving License/Passport).
•Scanned copy of PAN of Applicant.
•Scanned copy of Organization ID Proof of Applicant (Org ID Card / Identity Letter issued on Organization Letter head).
•Passport size photo of Applicant (JPG/ PNG file).
If GSTIN number is not provided
•Bank Statement Signed by Bank AND, Incorporation Certificate AND, Organization PAN Card.
Foreign Individual
•Scanned copy of Local Government issued ID Proof.
•Scanned copy of Address Proof.
